"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said..." Matthew 28.6

Easter is a day to be celebrated. That means that it is worthy of our full attention and our eager response. The women and the disciples had misunderstood Jesus during his lifetime and they looked for him in the wrong place following his death. All of that was understandable, given human tendencies of habit and scepticism. But we have the benefit of our hindsight and of their experience. We can praise the risen Jesus and understand him as he really is. What a difference! What a privilege!

Time for a holiday, so please look forward to my next post after a week...
